It was going to be an unexpectedly rainy day in San Francisco, so instead we spent the afternoon hunting for sticks and magenta succluent blossoms on the coastal trails of Alameda. Coco and her little sister Winnie Bea wore dresses hand-picked from the South, and Coco proudly wore jewelry handed down from her Mama's childhood. When the day was done and I was back home reviewing shots of Coco playing in the marsh, I could have sworn I was looking at a child from another era. I am beyond excited to share these photos with y'all.
